JULIEN CHAILLOU - UX DESIGNER & TECHNOLOGIST
Hi! I'm Julien Chaillou.
I've worked in global ad agencies for the past 15 years (Publicis, Razorfish, BETC), focusing on digital and interactive projects for a variety of brands (Orange, Renault, Evian, Levi's).
I worked as a UX Designer and a Creative Technologist. I helped design and produce complex websites, apps and installations with heavy technical needs.
Overall, I see UX as a crucial step to tell brand stories in a way that will best engage users. I'm here to facilitate the interactions between brands and users and make them smooth, intuitive and delightful.
LA DANCE WORKOUT
The LADP dance company, led by French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, launched an online workout platform through which users can experience a new kind of dance-inspired workout.
The challenge of the UX work was to design a custom video player that would allow users to learn the workouts and exercise at their own pace.

ORANGE #FUTURESELF (20 years)
To promote the 20th anniversary of Orange (one of the biggest French telecom companies), and to showcase their innovation, we created a website that allowed people to talk to their “future-self” in 20 years.
One of the biggest challenge was to map the diversity of questions and design a pertinent answer for all of them.
I designed the Artificial Intelligence algorithm of the "futureself" and led all the technical aspects of the website development.

NESCAFE - "REALLY FRIENDS?"
Nestle challenged Arnaud, a Facebook user, to meet as many friends as possible over a two-month period, surprise them with two cups of coffee and film their reactions and conversations. We made a Youtube channel that embedded all the episodes of this web series.
We wanted the user to feel into an intimate space and managed to turn nescafe's youtube channel into arnaud's personal website.
I designed the general UX of the custom Youtube Channel, prototyped the CSS/JQuery effects and managed all the video content.
Scoop-it is a content curation platform. The website enables its users to discover content on their topics of interest. They can then curate and publish the content to their own web page and share it on their social networks.
The challenge was to seduce new users by creating a more welcoming and intuitive interface, all the while not disappointing core users.
I designed the different personas paths and all the sections of the website.
What Scoop-it founders said about the UX: "We've received a ton of fantastic feedback from our users and prospective users"
